Celebrating its 9th consecutive year, the Forney Chamber of Commerce and the City of Forney cordially invites the entire community to come forth Saturday, December 1st to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in the heart of downtown Forney.

Parade watchers are encouraged to sit or stand along South Bois d’Arc as the Christmas Parade will begin at the Forney ISD Administration Building at 9 AM and proceed slowly before ending at the Jackrabbit sign.

Over a dozen different food vendors and restaurants will provide a large selection of foods and approximately eighty retail and craft booths will be available on Main Street throughout the day.

Returning for their second consecutive year will be the Carter Blood Bank Mobile which will again be located in front of Forney City Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New this year are both a 70 foot drop Zipping Line Ride and a 12 seat horizontally swinging Pirate Ship will be erected and operated behind the Forney Sub-Courthouse, and both will provide free rides throughout the fun filled day.
